As children of the diaspora in Europe, we are deeply inspired by the intersection of our cultural roots and the creative energy that surrounds us. Behind the Scenes: Our Journey
Atay Atelier started as an ambitious idea: a welcoming space where Moroccan mint tea, art, and culture could meet. With that vision, we opened our tea shop in 2022. Over time, however, we realized that our true passion and impact lay in creating a platform for artists and cultural exchange.
From hosting exhibitions, workshops, and artist talks to launching initiatives like the Atay Art Circle and our podcast Radio Atay, we have built a vibrant community of creators. Our events brought together diverse audiences, from young bicultural students to international visitors, proving the power of art to connect and inspire.
Now, we are evolving. Moving beyond the limitations of a physical space, we are reimagining Atay Atelier as a cultural platform. Through essays, sound stories, and curated events, we remain dedicated to celebrating the richness of Moroccan creativity in dialogue with the world.
